Climbing in the Tarn and Jonte gorges

At the end of May, we spent a week climbing in the Tarn and Jonte gorges. We stayed in a gîte in Mostuéjouls, surrounded by forest, cliffs and the river Tarn.

So we had an unlimited playground just a few minutes’ drive away.

The corner is really great, I recommend it to everyone!

After a busy summer of climbing, we decided that it was time to get back into the swing of things (and no, we don’t do artifice)! The whole gang decided to take advantage of the recent heat to climb in the south of France. We headed for the Calanques between Marseille and Cassis.

I’d like to remind you, however, that it’s important to respect the site and its rules. What’s more, climbing is a high-risk sport. So it’s important to always be accompanied by an experienced climber.

Summer 2022

This summer has been pretty busy compared to the rest of the year. We started with a traditional climbing course with Tristan from Rendez-vous Vertical in the Chassezac gorges. This enabled us to learn how to handle ropes and friends. The first falls were pretty scary, but once we got over that hurdle, our confidence was there.
